Make Washington D.C. the 51st State!

Democracy’s fundamental promise is that every person who calls this country home is represented equally in our government.

But, absurd as it seems, the residents of our nation's capital home aren’t represented in either house of Congress. 

They’re very specifically not receiving equal levels of representation in Congress.

The most just solution is also the most obvious: we must make Washington D.C. our country's 51st state.

In a democracy, depriving one person of their rights is an attack on us all. Equal representation must be at the heart of who we are as a country.
