Cracking down on tax cheats.

For decades, wealthy individuals and corporations have gamed the system to get away without paying their fair share while the rest of us pick up the tab. Wealthy tax cheats have benefited from years of Republicans' efforts to tie the hands of the IRS and stop it from being able to go after the wealthy and well-connected Americans getting away without paying their fair share. But thanks to the strength of our progressive movement, that's all changing.

Thanks to Democrats' historic Inflation Reduction Act, the IRS just announced its plans to go after more than a thousand millionaires who owe hundreds of thousands of back taxes.

Democrats promised big, bold action to level the playing field for working families and hold the wealthy accountable for not paying their fair share. I'm proud to say we're delivering.

This is what is possible when Democrats have the majority. We deliver real solutions to real problems.
