A historic year

As I reflect on 2022, I am proud of the work that we have done for the American people. We came together for the common good.

Democrats promised big, bold change on some of the most pressing challenges facing American families, and I'm proud to say we delivered. From tackling the climate crisis to holding corporations accountable for not paying their fair share, to lowering drug costs for seniors and protecting marriage equality (and much more), this year showed us what's possible with a strong Democratic majority in Congress.

But one of the greatest victories in 2022 came on election night and the days that followed.

Together, we defended our democracy. That's no small feat. Despite MAGA Republicans polluting our discourse with dysfunction, spite, cruelty, and lies, Americans elected good, honest, compassionate leaders to represent them.

The American people decisively chose leaders who want to build on the progress we've made, not turn back the clock on our constitutional freedoms. And none of that would have been possible without your support of our grassroots movement.

We have a long way to go in 2023 and a lot of work to do to defeat far-right extremism, but I'm in this fight all the way.
