Let’s stay focused on what matters

Since election night, we have seen a strong rebuke of Trumpism and MAGA politicians. The American people made it clear that this toxic movement does not align with their values.

Despite this, Donald Trump just announced his campaign for the 2024 presidential election.

Another Trump presidency would be a disaster. We must spend the next two years working as hard as we can to prevent him from returning to the office, because we've seen what a Trump presidency means for our country. We have a lot of work to do, and I'm going to continue fighting alongside Democrats in the Senate to deliver on the priorities that matter to American families.

Let's stay focused on what matters – lowering the cost of health care and prescription drugs, ensuring billionaires pay their fair share, protecting data privacy, protecting marriage equality for all, and expanding access to abortion care.

We saw voters come out in droves to protect our democracy and reproductive freedom. We protected our Senate majority – now it's time to get back to work.

Together, we can create an America that works for everyone – not just the wealthy few. A world where democracy isn't just a word we throw around at election time but a way of life. And a place where equality is codified into our laws.
