In the wake of the Supreme Court's disastrous decision to rip away a woman's right to make her own health care decisions, abortion is already being criminalized in states nationwide.

Authorities in states that pass laws that criminalize abortion could go even further by weaponizing a woman's private information. Everything from researching birth control online to bringing a phone to the doctor's office or entering information into a period tracking app could be used as evidence to prosecute them.

It's clear that protecting the right to online privacy has become a life or death matter in the United States.

And believe it or not, it gets worse.

This should alarm us all. Every digital record could be weaponized to control women's bodies and criminalize people for seeking reproductive care.
