What we know about Saudi Arabia's violation of our justice system:

This year, we learned that the Saudi Arabian government has been helping fugitives flee the United States when they're charged with violent crimes. Just days ago, The Oregonian broke the news that the U.S. government has known about their sabotage of our justice system for over ten years, and has done nothing about it.

This isn't a partisan failing. Republican and Democratic administrations alike willfully looked the other way as a brutal, tyrannical foreign government subverted the rule of law in this country.

The Saudi regime has even helped those accused of committing horrific crimes like sexual assault and manslaughter. They will never face justice.

This has been going on for at least a decade. Our government can't sacrifice American lives and the integrity of our legal system to appease the whims of a corrupt and ruthless regime.

I'm demanding that the Trump administration take immediate action to stop the Saudi government's violation of our legal system, and to uphold the rule of law. Further, I'm redoubling my efforts to learn exactly how deep this cover-up goes, and I will not stop until the American people get the answers we deserve.
