Nearly 9 million seniors in America face the threat of hunger. And that number is steadily increasing.

What began as a humble grassroots program to deliver food to isolated seniors has grown into a major public-private partnership. Today, 2 million volunteers deliver meals to seniors facing the threat of hunger in almost every community in America.

Unfortunately, Meals on Wheels is underfunded. Eight out of 10 low income food-insecure seniors are not receiving the home-delivered meals they need.
