Like driving without lights

Republicans had to call in Vice President Mike Pence to move forward with their terrible plan to dismantle our health care today.

They don’t even know what’s in their new plan – more tax cuts for the wealthy? No cancer coverage? But they’re rushing it through so – as Republican Senator Dean Heller said – they can "put this behind us."

"This" is health care.

"This" is life or death for millions of Americans. It's not a box you check.

Voting on a bill you haven’t seen is like driving down a dark road without lights – it’s dangerous and reckless and, in this case, people will die.

Why are they rushing this? Because Republicans are scared to face you. They know that you oppose their plan to kick millions of Americans off of their health care, forcing families to make impossible choices between groceries and medicine.

We won’t let them get away with it.
