BREAKING: Trumpcare delay & next steps

BREAKING: Republicans postponed the vote on Trumpcare until after the July 4 recess.

This is because of you. Because you refused to lay down while they tried to sell Americans' health for tax breaks for the wealthiest few. Five Republican Senators publicly opposed Trumpcare and even more are on the fence. It's clear they can’t ignore the millions of people who have called on them to stop attacking our health care.

But this is far from over, Suvi.

Just like Paul Ryan brought Trumpcare back from the grave in the House, we know Mitch McConnell is going to try to do the same.

So here come the bribes. The next week or so, McConnell will be wooing his colleagues. Attempting to make deals to win their votes.

We have to stay loud. Go to town halls. Keep tweeting, texting, calling. McConnell is going to work hard. But we are going to work harder. Will you share with your friends to make sure our resistance stays strong?

It will take grit and it will take unity, but we can save Medicaid, Planned Parenthood, and lower the cost of insurance. First things first, we need to throw out this bad bill, and then stand together for affordable health care and a better future.
