Follow the money

If we want answers, we’ve got to follow the money.

Now, more than ever, it’s critical that we have a full understanding of Donald Trump’s financial dealings with Russia.

Donald Trump is the first president in decades to refuse to release his tax returns – and he’s admitted that his 2008 portfolio consisted of Russian money.

Republicans are keeping their heads down and avoiding the elephant in the room. Something isn’t right. I’m fighting to get the truth about any potential money laundering, shell corporations, and property transfers.

How? I’ve put a hold on a nominee to a U.S. Treasury agency, and I’m not going to release that hold until we get the financial documents we’re asking for.

We need to know what Trump’s Russian investments are. Now’s the time for us to put the pressure on and get some answers.
