Lipstick on a pig

Voting on a bill before you know what's in it is bad enough, but voting for a bill before you know the consequences it inflicts upon the people you represent? That's just wrong. But House Republicans did just that, and now we know the consequences - they put lipstick on a pig and ordinary Americans are being asked to pay the price.

We're talking about 23 million people who will lose their health care in the next decade.

It’s up to us to stop this nightmare from becoming a reality – and we have the power to stop it again.

I’m going to do everything in my power to stop this bill from passing out of the Senate. We’ll be rallying together and organizing a united front at town hall meetings in the next week.
