Leaving the middle class behind

Tuesday night, Donald Trump laid out a plan to line the pockets of wealthy billionaires while leaving middle-class Americans behind.

Trump wants to raise taxes on working families while handing out big tax breaks to wealthy special interests.

That’s not ok.

Trump’s been in office for less than 50 days, and already he’s doubled down on every unfair tax advantage on our books.

I’m committed to stopping the president’s disastrous plan to put his rich friends ahead of the American people. Rather than let Trump divide us further—through indiscriminate deportations, drastic health care cuts, or tax plans that only benefit the wealthy—I promise to stand up for hard working Americans everywhere.

I’ll keep fighting to fix the tax code and make sure everyone plays by the same set of rules.

Even Mr. Trump.
