On stage: Hillary Clinton
I’m here in Philadelphia, and I’m fired up!
Tonight is the night Hillary Clinton takes the stage and accepts our party’s nomination for President.
The polls show a neck-and-neck race, and Trump’s campaign manager is talking about putting Oregon in play. We’re kicking this campaign into high gear. Our goal is to raise $9,000 in grassroots donations by the end of the month to build our campaign. Chip in now and let’s get it done!
The contrast between our convention and last week’s spectacle of fear and hate couldn’t be sharper.
As progressives, we believe America is great, and our fight is to perfect the union – not turn back the clock.
We believe in progress, and science.
We believe love is love.
We believe in equality under the law for all, no matter who you are, where you’re from, or who you love.
We believe in America’s promise, and we believe everyone in our country can be part of the solution to our challenges.
I’ll be cheering on Hillary tonight from the floor of the convention. She is with us. I hope you’ll tune in and join me.
After tonight, the real work begins.
