Raise the minimum wage

You know the score: Too many Americans put in their forty hours every week – or a heck of a lot more – but still end up in poverty.

We’re going to do something about it.

I’ve signed onto legislation in Congress that would raise the minimum wage to $12, but so far Senate leadership refuses to bring the bill to the floor for a vote.

It’s time for leaders in the U.S. Senate to hear our voice. Sign our petition and tell them that working families deserve a raise!

This is an issue of fairness and opportunity, and we can’t be timid. It’s time to act!
